Awards

The history of the College is replete with many achievements and awards from national, state and local governments as well as from many distinguished non-governmental organizations.

Some of the most recent Awards, to mention but a few, include:

  1. a) The Most well-organized and Environmental Friendly Private School in Delta State (an Award presented by Nigerian Safety Association in Collaboration with Federal Ministry of Environment)

  2. b) Academic Excellence Merit Award (AEMA) Presented by Academic Welfare Movement

  3. c) Merit Award in recognition of the schools consistent and courageous crusade against examination malpractice and for upholding the tradition of academic excellence and moral integrity Presented by the ministry of Education, Delta State.

  4. d) Professor F.M.A. Ukoli Environmental Merit Award for emerging 2nd position in the NES Delta State Chapter Environmental Quiz Competition for Secondary Schools 2006 Presented by the Nigerian Environmental Society Delta State Chapter.

  5. e) Certificate of Excellence presented by Warri JC International in recognition of the schools outstanding performance in the 2006 intercollegiate Debate Competition

  6. f) Many other numerous Awards in the Fields of Sports, March-Past and Debates.

  7. g) Scholarship Awards

The college offers a limited number of full scholarship to qualified indigenes of its area of operations (i.e. Ugboroke Community). The scholarship covers only tuition fee and beneficiaries are selected after competitive written and oral exams. The exams are organized every 3 years. Awards are also made to students that have distinguished themselves in academics and co-curricular activities as well as needy students, e.g. orphans. The awards are given at the discretion of the Board of Directors in consultation with members of staff.
